Privacy
You always have full control over your privacy
Privacy status
With your privacy status in your personal navigation at the top right, you can control if everyone or just your friends may see your sleeq ins and your posts. The status only effects future sleeq ins and posts but not actions in the past. In other words each activity has its own individual privacy status.
Your privacy status is also considered if you access sleeq by cell phone. For example if you have set your status to public and send an e-mail telling what's going on at your current location everyone can see your post.

Status public
Everyone may see your sleeq ins and posts, so you can share information about where is the place to be right now and be a real time guide for your town! |

Status private
Only your friends may see your sleeq ins and posts. But hey, why don't you share with everyone what's going on at your favourite location? You too would probably appreciate to see what's going on in your town right now and you might make some new friends! |
If you have accidentally sleeqed in or posted a message as public but don't want everyone to see it, you can change the visibility afterwards in your activity stream in your user profile. You can even delete each of your activities anytime if you wish. In other words you always have full control over your privacy and you can hide or remove activities after you have sent them.

Fake friend
Sometimes you add friends to your friends list, but do not want them to see your private activities. If this is the case you can mark friends as "fake friend" in their user profile. By doing this they remain in your friends list but they can only see your public sleeq ins and posts. No need to hurt anyone’s feelings by removing them from your friends list, that is :)
